Shortly after my family moved to Cheney, Washington, in the summer of 1970, I remember my dad telling me that Badfinger was coming to town. Much to my eternal regret, I didn't go, even though I was a big Badfinger fan, but then I was only in sixth grade at the time.

The old Field House is long gone, burned down in a spectacular blaze caused by sparks from a welder's torch in 1977.
