My wife and I had the opportunity to attend a Badfinger concert in 1972 promoting Straight Up. That performance was nothing short of masterful and compelling. The venue no doubt held more than 6000 in attendance, I felt they all had extra energy that evening to give the audience! Quite a performance! Pete Ham's guitar riffs just blew us away. The remaining three members played with equal ability! This is a concert I will never forget, nor will time ever diminish. We had to evacuate Mayser Gymnasium for 45 minutes for a bomb scare that evening, but a bomb scare back then was no big deal.
