I met Joey Molland in 1984 (on August 27--my birthday, which I share with Billy J. Kramer, who was also on the bill that night), when he asked, "What's your name, luv?" and autographed the back of my concert ticket. Made me feel all gooey inside. Ah, good times...makes me want to drag it out and look at it.

I don't know why I remembered the show taking place on the 27th of August--unless it was post-poned from the date on the ticket, which is August 18, 1984. It's possible, I suppose. I was sure it had been my birthday that night. Oh, well.
