Picadilly Nightclub
Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A.

It was the 20th anniversary of the British Invasion Show in Indy. Herman's Hermits, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, Gerry and the Pacemakers and The Troggs. I remember Mike getting pissed (off) 'cause the drummer for The Troggs poured water over all the heads during "Wild Thing" and everyone was using a shared (drum) kit and Badfinger was next. Leftover mist spray in the face. You should try it sometime... looked cool. I got a board mix of the show somewhere. I transferred it from cassette to half track 1/4 inch. Gotta look for it. It's been awhile.

I remember they (Picadilly) had like a cafeteria line to go through to get drinks.

I was working at Picadilly when we hosted the Indianapolis leg of that tour. I spent a goodly time working at that place. Original Troggs were awesome. No Herman, only his Hermits. Still truth in advertising, as the members were indeed Herman's Hermits. Gerry was fabulous, as was Billy J. Kramer. I have my Troggs LP signed by all the Troggs somewhere. Sure hope you can find that recording, Mike!
