The following tracks/versions are exclusive to this CD: I'm A Man, Heat Wave, Goin' Down, Motoring.

Although appearing in stereo for the first time here, this version of I'm A Man is incomplete, due to the lyrics "I'll get you in bed, darling" being edited out. These lyrics appear intact on the mono mix which appears on the U.K. My Generation LP.

The version of Circles appearing here is the shorter, faster, single version.

The co-writers of Dogs, Part II with Keith Moon are none other than the pet dogs of Pete and John.

Water
is missing the bit at the end where Keith yells "somebody, give me!"

The version of Heat Wave included here is more true to the original version than the shorter version The Who ultimately re-recorded and released on their second LP, A Quick One in 1966.

The song Wasp Man, although really an instrumental like Dogs, Part II, is sung by John Entwistle and probably Keith Moon also. The lyric consists only of the title. Pete and Roger contribute voices, but aren't singing. Keith provided the wasp sound effects.

John re-recorded his vocal for the live version of My Wife in April, 1972 for a potential live album.
